Is chewing tobacco allowed in your carryon? Specifically, the Copenhagen pouches. I thought I read somewhere (TSA?) that chewing tobacco is prohibited, but I can't find it now. I didn't know if carrying it was prohibited, or just using it
. He's not planning on chewing it on the plane, but we have only carryons, so if he can't pack it in the carryon, then he has to give it to my parents to put into their checked bag.
EDIT: Oops! I think I found my answer! It is on the AirTran website...
"In addition to smoking, the use of chewing tobacco and electronic cigarettes are not permitted onboard any scheduled or private charter AirTran Airways flight."
So, I assume that this means that he can pack it in his carryon as long as he doesn't use it in flight.
