Ok, I just read all the threads about how AWFUL the Garden Grill is, so this upset my dining schedule, which I really didn't need this late in the game. I now need a new dinner plan for our day in Epcot on 9/11. There are 5 of us, me, my boyfriend, my dd4, and my parents. I was trying to do lots of character meals for my dd, we are on the dining plan. So now I need some suggestions of good places to eat in Epcot that will be good for the entire family. I thought Le Cellier would be great, but it's already booked, they told me I could call when I get into Disney and check then, but until then I prefer to have some sort of reservation. Thanks in advance for your help. :confused3

Fun restaurants for kids at Epcot include:

Biergarten- there is an oompah band and dancing, and the food is good- not spicy or too exotic.

Marrakesh- belly dancer who encourages kids to dance with her- food is great, but a bit unusual. Kids' meals are the normal chicken, burger, etc.

Teppenyaki- chefs prepare food at your table- neat for kids!!

Rose & Crown- if you can get an outside table and time it right, you can get an awesome view of Illuminations.

Akershus in Norway- Princesses for all 3 meals!!! Probably booked for your dates, though- but try it anyway!

San Angel Inn- The inside of the pavilion looks like an outdoor market at dusk. The volcano rumbles and erupts, and the El Rio del Tiempo boats go by- DD could even ride a few times before dinner comes!

Have a great time- whichever place you pick, you'll have a great time- you're at WDW! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

We also just cancelled Garden Grill for our October trip. Since we already had an ADR for Le Cellier, we switched GG to Teppanyaki. We've eaten there once and the food was delicious, not to mention the chef is very entertaining. It's not a character meal, but at least it's action-packed. :teeth:

We've never been to Disney before so I'm not sure if this restaurant is suited for families or not. But we just cancelled a dinner reservation at Les Chefs De France for that day. Good Luck!

Eat off hours, and don't stress, you can always put your name in and go do a couple rides

I did cancel our reservations that we had in October. I opted for Mexico instead. We enjoyed Mexico before :)
