Please help me understand all of this before I book our trip

Am I understanding this correctly?


1) I want to book a room at Hojo's. The best rate will most likely be the "entertainment rate".

2) To get the MM for 2 days, I need to book through Getaway Today. If I do that, I won't get the cheapest rate for the hotel? Or can I just buy DL tickets thru Getaway Today and get the MM?

3) To get into TTMM, I have to book through Costco or get lucky and find tickets here or on Ebay, is that correct?

2. You can just purchase your hoppers through GAT, and you will still get the 2 MM's.

3. You can only get TTMM if you book through WDT or a company that uses them (AAA, Costco, etc.) People do sell these tickets on Ebay, but IMO, they aren't worth purchasing.

I agree with all of the above:

- Book the entertainment rate (directly with Hojo Anaheim location) & book with GAT seperately to get the best deals & offerings.

- & TTMM is not as important as 1) a great hotel rate &/or 2) MM ...(imo).

- & $10 spent at McDonalds (on your walk between Hojos & the front gate) can easily feed a family of four (& is best eaten while in line waiting for DL to open )

Ohhhh, I hadn't even gotten that far yet!! Egg McMuffins to start our day at DL - waaay better than rice crispies in the hotel room! Thanks for the tip!!

Agreed. & I suppose i should have said (depending on the family) $15 feeds a family of four.

& since you commented.....McDs is sometimes crowded in the AM....so prepare for this if you're trying to get to the gate 30 min. before opening. (There are 3-4 motels on Harbor that are very near McDs, fyi)

If there are two adults in the party, it might be best to send one over 10 min. ahead of time to order/pick up food & then the rest of the group catches up.
