I have two muslin colored yard umbrellas that did not winter well. They both have mildew stains on them. Any help in removing this would be greatly appreciated. :thumbsup2 Just so you know, I haven't done anything to them yet. Was hoping to get to this today while we are outside doing some power washing to the house.
Thanks ya'll. :goodvibes

I don't know if the umbrellas will survive it but the only way I've ever gotten mildew out was tilex- not even bleach killed it.

White vinegar water and baking soda . The vinegar will kill the mold and soda will bubble on it .
1 cup water
1 cup vinegar
Tbs soda .

Also put them someplace dry and warm, with free-flowing air. My nana used to say "put them out in the sunshine" as mildew needs dampness to grow.

I agree with your nana. :goodvibes
