Ok, so hears the whole spheil, for about 1 month I have been planning for be a "punk" MInnie for Halloween, and I have been really excited about it. (I <3333 having semi-original costumes. Last year a was a can of Spam! ) And well, I wanted to keep it a secret so I haven't told anyone. So today my uhm, "arch enemy" annoced to everybody that she is going to be a punk Minnie and her briends are going to be "evil" Tinkerbells! (I was an evil Tink at lasts years party.....but none of them were there) I reallllly don't want to look like them, and I want to be different, without blowing my cool. So here's the question:

Can I ask her not to be that for Halloween without a really bad rep. about me, but still having her not be Minnie? I know I can't like force it down her thoart and say she can't do something, but the thing is that, I really want to do this...help? Anyone?

I really don't think it would be right for you to tell her or ask her not to wear her costume. Especially if she is an enemy.

If I were you, I would just make the best possible costume and hold my head up high. You'll probably look better than here anyway. LOL

Oh yeah, if you are going to the same party - get there before her so she looks like the copycat.

I have a question...were you a can of spam or an evil tinkerbell?

She must have found out some how that's what you were going to be ....I wouldn't ask her not to be that UNLESS she heard you talking about it..then she is doing it just to be evil and bug you. ..are you all going to be at the same party? If so then I would find something else REALLY cool to be but if you all go out and do different things then you wouldn't see them right?

You sound soooo creative! I bet you'll think of something else to do just don't tell your arch enemy! Have fun!!

I was a can of Spam for school and tick-or-treating..but at the parties before this lovely holiday, I wore the Tink costume.

We will be at the same party...eg.

The thing is that I am sure she heard me telling one of my bestest friends. What...a meanie. I guess I am being to quick to assume, but I am upset about this. I will probably be there first since he is one of those "fashionably late" that is beyound fashionaly people. I just want her to stop.

Wow, I sound like such a 2 year old. I just want her not to do it though.

Oh, you don't sound like a 2 year old...just like someone who is creative and had someone else steal your idea! and hey tinkerbell had a bit of an attitude anyway!

I think the only thing you can do is accept the fact that she is going to do it. Just let it go. You sound like you are very creative, you still have time to come up with something outstanding....something even better than your original idea. I'd put your energy in to that instead of the hurt/anger/betrayal that you are feeling.

Maybe she's really not going to go as that.... maybe she's just saying it to "get your goat". It's sounds too weird to me that she "announces" she going as what you are going as, with her friends going as what you were last year.

What a BRAT!!! Don't let her know it's bothering you.....
