Please help me decide

We are planning a trip for November or December. December is 500 dollars more than November. My oldest just wants to be able to swim. I believe December would only be a few degrees colder than November. The dates in November would be the 17 to the 23 and December would be the 15 to the 21.

November is much less busy, if you're not concerned about seeing the Christmas decorations, I'd go then!

The Christmas decorations were already up last year for our vacation Nov 9 - 19. We also attended MVMCP.

Cool! It's been years and we've only gone the very beginning of November before, that's neat that they're up so early!

xmas stuff starts going up after halloween (correct if I am wrong) Temp wise, I don't think it matters, as you are just one polar vortex away from having a pair of frozen oranges.

I would check out sun rise/set table and events happening at the parks. To me paying less is the way to go.

The middle of December can in fact be very cold. I would choose November if swimming is important to you. Crowds will also be much lower in November and you will not be in a time crunch getting ready for Christmas when you return. We really did enjoy our December trip but it was more expensive, colder and a bit more stressful than non Holiday trips we have taken.
