Please help me decide which picture to use

My son has an interview with an acting agent next month. They want a 3x5 photo of him for their files. (this is not a headshot photo, just a regular snapshot)

I have it down to two, but I cannot decide which one I should give them. DS is no help, he syas either one is fine with him.

I know they are not the best photos. #2, the one I like the best is way off center, but I do like it.

A picture like no. 2 would help if it were centered, and showed his entire body. Close, but this is what talent agents and their clients like to see.

The first one has the top of his head cut off.

The second one is too off center.

Try taking the second one over again.

Used to work in that industry... I would take another picture (as long as it doesn't cost you too much to do it again. Children should never have pictures that cost any money until they have begun to make money). You should make sure you can see his face clearly and that, most importantly, it looks like him. Not posed or trying to portray a certain "look". Hope that helps

I voted for 2 but I agree with this. A genuine smile would add a lot.

Of the two choices, your son looks better in the second one. However, I agree that his expression looks a bit forced, so I think you might want to try another round of pics.

I voted take another becuase I think the pictures look too posed. I would go for something more natural.
