Please help me decide on rooms vs Studios

We have 3 adult size women and will be staying at Animal Kingdom and the Beach Club. I'm trying to decide between the rooms with 2 queen beds or the deluxe studio with the queen and fold out couch. We don't really need the kitchenette, but don't mind having it. Which do you think we will be the most comfortable in? I'm considering the studio because they're a little less expensive. I don't want to give up comfort and conveince to save though as this trip will be the last for several years. I want it to be special with no disappointments. I've never stayed in a studio before. Thanks.

I would ask the woman who'd be sleeping on the pull out if they want to sleep on a pull out. Or would you be rotating?

2 real beds always seems like the better choice than a pull out, but the benefit of the pull out is that if you put it away during the day, you have more room/seating space.

ETA: Also with the Beach club if you get the studio, you'l be in a separate building (I believe) but you'll get a full balcony vs the possibly tiny one you could get at the main building.

With AKL, if you're in Jambo House, you'll be on the 5th floor in the studio, which some people say the views aren't as great there as a lower standard room. Just some other things to consider than just the bed situation!

Were it me...I'd would concentrate on the bathroom setup more than the beds. Whichever room setup included a separate toilet (w/ door) from the sink area would be a winner on this end. Oh right and 2 bthrm sinks over 1 takes it over the top, LOL.

I would want a real bed, if it were me. Of all the things you want in your room, comfortable sleeping arrangements tops the list for us. Real beds for everyone is a priority, so we never stay DVC if it can be helped. (I also don't want to do either laundry or make my meals while on vacation, so nothing in or near the room is an asset, IMO)

I would consider the Swan/Dolphin to save money over the Beach Club, though. Alternatively, the YC (rather than the BC) with all full balconies would win for 3 adult women.

For 3 adults, a room with 2 queen beds will be much more comfortable than a studio. I would not pay Disney prices to sleep on a fold-out bed.

The regular resort rooms at Disney are typically more spacious and attractive than the studios, as well.

Most standard Disney resort rooms have a separate bath/toilet area from the sinks. And there are typically 2 sinks, not one.

I would do a room, I don't know if it's true but for some reason the studios seem smaller to me.

I would always choose sleeping in a bed over a pull out couch, every time. In fact, I wouldn't choose, I insist.

The rooms at the Beach Club are nicer than the studios at BCV. You will get two queen beds and many rooms have a daybed. That would give everyone their own beds. The day bed is large enough for an adult

The studios are smaller than the rooms at the BC. And when the sleeper sofa is down there is very little room to move around.

I would choose regular rooms in both resorts. The fold-out beds are not very comfortable. My DS9 sleeps on them, but I wouldn't put an adult on one for a long trip. At BC, I would request a room with a daybed. It's not guaranteed, but you might as well request it!

I would choose two rooms. I would want a bed rather than a pull out sleeper. I slept in a pull out at AK Kidani and it was uncomfortable.

I agree that a regular room seems larger than a studio.

The fold out beds aren't that comfortable for adults.

I think the studios are great for a solo, a couple, or a couple with one small child. But once you hit 3 adults or a party of 4, they seem small.

I've considered YC, but my roomies still want BC even if it means no balcony. I'm not sure how they'd feel about the Swan or Dolphin, but I'll check. If they still prefer BC I'll request full and hope for the best. I believe the bed is as you said, the most comfortable sleeping arrangement. Because of that I do plan to go with the standard room vs the studio. Thanks for your input.

It's me, my daughter and her daughter. We are best friends. So we want to stick close together. Going to go with the two queens and two of us will sleep together. I'm sure we will be comfy enough. Thanks!

Thanks, that's what I've decided to do. Seems like everyone agrees that's our best choice.

Thanks! That's what we will get. Saving a little money isn't as important as having a comfortable stay.
