Please! Help me convince my husband to try a water park!!!

Thanks for the kind words about my website. When I got back from the trip I was all gung-ho and got a bunch of work done on the site. I kind of burned myself out before I finished it. Now, I'm going back this September (thanks to the Fairytale Package) so I'm going to have to get the site finished, and make room for more photos from this trip. I did promise my woman that I wouldn't take nearly as many photos this trip.

I don't think that the "snow" makes things that bright; I get nasty headaches from the sun and I'm no worse than normal at BB. I do wear my sunglasses at water parks when I'm not on the big slides; have croakey, will travel!

I think a lot of people hear the "snow" theme thing and think that it must require a lot of white concrete to carry off, so it rules out good shade. Not so, the park has very plentiful shade; it is heavily landscaped.

TL is more work than BB, if you want to be lazy. At BB, the chair lift takes you to the top of the big slides, but at TL you have to climb stairs (and drag your tube along, in some cases.)

I like the kids area at BB better than the one at TL, because there are water cannons at TL, and I can never get my kid off that cannon and onto slides elsewhere in the parks. In our case, going to TL means that it is hours before Mom and Dad can get out of kiddieville!

Thanks for all the info! I have now convinced my DH to go to a water park - maybe even 2 of them!!! CWIPPERMAN we enjoyed looking at your website - it was REALLY helpful. Thank you My sons loved all of the pictures - it got them very excited.

It depends on the CM and what attraction your at. There are alot of IF, ANDS, or BUTs to the rules with each ride.... or sometime its just how the lifegurad Learns the rules while training. But as always, you and your child's safety is always the reason


As for the snow.... it dosent really effect anything, just maybe a spot here or there, its more of the hot side walks here or there because of the lack of tree cover (as compaired to TL), but there is water running on the ground from diffrent spots for u to run to if you dont have anything on your feet.


the Depth of the pool in the Ski patrol area (pre-teen) is on avg. 4 feet deep (where the cargonet/ice burg crossing and bungee slides are) and where the t-bar and tube slide it is 11-feet deep.
