Help you choose a resort? Much will depend, of course on how much you want to spend.
I'm one of those people (who has visited WDW many, many times) who never understands the complaints about WDW transport. The bus system works very well, the monorails are great, the ferries run regularly, and the walkways are well kept.
What sort of things do you like? Do you want to enjoy the resort, or just use it as a place to sleep and go, go, go? Do you just want a resort room, or do you want a complete villa with separate bedrooms and a kitchen, and a laundry room?
Disney really does offer it all. Values are very nice; in your face Disney themes, and nice food courts. Moderates are equally as nice and add a full service restaurant. Deluxes are tricky. Some really are not worth the effort or rates, but most are lovely.
It will depend upon how much you want to spend, if you have a location preference and what sort of accommodation you want.
