I need to choose a resort for my 15 year-old son and I to spend 5 or 6 nights at after our Disney Fantasy cruise next June. We like pools, lazy rivers and waterslides, Disney theming, a comfortable resort room, and easy, simple food offerings. We've been to WDW several times, so we're interested in a resort oriented stay with the parks on the side, so to speak.

Here are the resorts I'm considering:

Beach Club Club Level
Boardwalk Inn Club Level
Four Seasons Orlando

Thoughts?

Is there a reason you chose BC CL over YC CL? The YC room are much nicer. My BC room in January needed some attention, even though I prefer the overall theming of BC to YC. Definitely would go with one of those, though, since this is mostly a resort stay for you.

Boardwalk doesn't have a lazy river. I don't know that the Four Seasons is exactly Disney themed, but is the most truly luxury of the 3. Sounds like Beach Club might be the best fit but I agree that watching the video tours is a good idea given the cost. That will help you decide what is important to YOU vs. others on the internet. Everyone has different priorities.

I would recommend Beach Club as it has the lazy river & is walkable to Epcot & the studios. It’s not necessarily Disney themed, but the beach theme is carried throughout. I’m sure Four Seasons is fabulous & ritzy, but I would still choose proximity to two parks. And club level is pretty awesome there!
One caveat is that the counter service at Beach or Yacht has few choices, but Beaches & Cream is great(assuming it’s reopened by then) & you can get simple food at any of the restaurants there. If you don’t want to make reservations at those, the bars have excellent choices as well. And you can certainly stroll to Epcot for many many more meals.

This is not on your list, but I would suggest Yacht club water or garden view - Club level. The resort is much quieter than BC and has a more elegant theme. I love the Four Seasons too. But since I like to do my own laundry, I can't stay at any Four Seasons for more than three nights.

Of your choices, I'd go with Beach Club. It has a small lazy river and one of the best pools on property. I also like that it's walking distance to Epcot, Hollywood Studios ( in case you decide to do a park day ) all Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin have to offer. You also have Beaches and Cream and Ample Hills that you can walk to which both are a nice treat at the end of the long day.
