Please help, is this a good deal or should we go with plan B?

Here is the situation. My husband is going to a conference in October and it will be him, me, and our 3 oldest kids--ages, 6, 5, and 4. We are staying at the BWI--that is where the conference is. The conference rate for a standard room is $305/night with tax--total of $1525 for 5 nights. We could all fit in this room BUT I have booked a deluxe room to have some extra space with the 3 little ones! So this is our current deal--40% off room only-- 5 nights-- Deluxe room (2 queen beds and a pull out queen sleeper sofa)--4 day MYW base tickets--dining for all (the counter, snack and table). Cost is $3700 (approx). Remember, this is a deluxe resort with deluxe room--club level. OR (plan B) we can do the conference rate standard room only, add the 4 day MYW base tickets for $950 (conference rate), then pay out of pocket for food BUT we would be a little crammed in the standard room. Please help. I feel like we might be spending too much for the 40% off room only deal BUT I keep telling myself it is a bigger room and includes the dining. Can I get your thoughts please? Thanks!

Personally, I think the extra space would be worth it. However, with Club Level, I'm not sure you really need the dining plan. You'll get a perfectly good breakfast plus snacks during the day and evening food and drinks. They'll give you large bottles of water that you can use to fill water bottles for the parks. Depending on how much you think you will eat (and if your husband is in a conference most of the day, he won't be eating many meals with you. Plus, of course, does he really need a 4 day ticket? One final thought, I really think the park hopper option is worth it so think about adding it to the base ticket, no matter what option you choose.

Just my 2 cents.

thanks for your reply! Here is some more info: we are going down early so my husband will only be in conference 2 days at of the 5--and in the morning only--i too think the extra space will be soo worth it. the deal with the pin code is it is 40% off room only BUT you have to get the dining plan AND the tickets--i asked if we could not do the dining plan...but the answer is no, not if we want the discounted room....

On any deal like this you only have to purchase a 1 day pass per person. YOu could upgrade each as you see necessary. If your husband isn't going in those two days, you could save some, but not much (difference between 3 and 5 day is not that much in dollars and cents)
