Please Help! I Think My Reservation Has Been Cancelled!

I am a new DVC member and made a reservation for BLT LV December 17-23, 2009 and BLT MK March 26-April 3. Before closing on my contract I changed from one 270 point contract to 4-80 point contracts. I just went online and it appears that I do not have any existing reservations. Do you think my reservations have been cancelled? If so, is there anything I can do? I'm afraid that neither will be available now. Thanks for your help.

This same thing happened to me when I changed my contract after making my reservations. I freaked out and called MS since I had booked a studio in Decmeber at BLt and the resort board was showing one of the nights sold out.

The CM on the phone couldn't see it at first and then talked to a supervisor. She was able to enter my reservation number and it was still there. I was told that it takes a while to get it transferred over from one contract to another and to give it time. It took a few days but everything showed up as it was scheduled.

I would call MS in the morning to double check but I am sure things will be fine!

Great move! This really puts your contacts into the more "Liquid" position in the event you need to pare down your vacation opportunities for some reason. Small contracts move really well, and generally are pending before publically listed. Review the contracts for sale listing and they are filled with large contracts with great values, but the size keeps them out of the grasp of those with Addonitis!

I hope your reservations are intact! Please post the outcome.

I also have a question for you- was this your first purchase? What is your home resort? We just bought and when I tried to split the contract into smaller segments, I was told that I needed at least one at the minimum buy-in for BLT- 160. I'm wondering if I was misinformed.
