Ok. So we are finally returning to WDW. We were going annually with bounce-backs until the last trip in Sep 2019. We all know what happened in 2020.

Different people travelling this time. A separation, then Mum passed away (and she had wanted to see brothers newest babies enjoy disney. Since she can’t go he has me going instead. )

So I am a little out of practice.
My adult son and I, brother wife and 3 kids (9,6,3)

We go Oct 29 to Nov 5. I get to book dining tomorrow.

I can’t believe I have procrastinated. Normally I would have everything planned by now yet here we are. :)

I am thinking (we have hoppers)

Tue Oct 29- arrive at hotel by noon. Not sure which park maybe DHS
Wed Oct 30 magic kingdom, BBB and castle if I can get reservations
Thur Oct 31 what is a good park on Halloween, DHS?
Fri nov 1 MK
Sat nov 2 Epcot
Sun nov 3 DAK
Mon nov 4 MK
Tue home

Did I choose good parks for the days?

Also early entry is every park every day now is that right? No evening magic hours?

And. Where can we trick or treat on Hallowen? MNSSHP was too costly for us to do this time

Where are you staying? All Disney resorts and a few others allow early entry. Deluxe resorts have access to the extra magic hours in the evening, based on your dates and if you are deluxe, Monday would be the only night of the evening hours (Epcot). The MK will have Halloween decorations, the other parks are not decorated for Halloween, if that effects your decision on where to go on 10/31, though the MK will close to guests at 6pm that night due to MNSSHP. There is no formal trick or treating on 10/31, some of the resort front desks may do it. And unless you are staying at Fort Wilderness, you won't be able to get in, they check at the entrance and when boarding transportation to FW on the days around Halloween, since it is so busy there. Food and Wine will be happening at Epcot when you are there and it does tend to make it busier on weekends, but it's a lot of locals and they don't always ride the attractions as much as non locals do. Other than that, I think your days will be fine. I looked at Touring Plans for your dates and all the parks are about the same (except for the MK on 10/31, it is a low crowd prediction because it closes at 6pm), some are a 5 versus a 4, but that is not a big difference according to TP.

Thank you. We are staying at Coronado Springs resort. :)

Sorry to hear about your loss. From someone who is a lot of Goofy (I am told to act my age weekly) looks like a good trip to me. As you already know with kids your age sensory overload will be a thing. Park hoppers in my view are must with kids that age. I also recommend an afternoon break. We were a little hesitant with EPCOT on our first you kids’ trip but they loved it. Getting a passport and have it stamped in each country can be a good way to interact with each country (they may find this boring). Caste members are wonderful and we remember the interaction they had. Not sure if they write something in their native language anymore but the cast member translated it for them after they wrote it. Our kids were fascinated with each of the lands and culture. Finally, there will be scavenger hunts in EPCOT during your trip (recommend this over the Passport but you know your kids better). Our kids (30ish) still love this. Will be there in October for Food & Wine. You will have sticker shock on souvenirs. I recommend buying some before you go.

Lastly as you already know family time is priceless let the kids set the pace. Enjoy!
