We are looking to get married in a small, intimate wedding June 2, 2021 at Aulani.

I am trying to “kill 2 birds with one stone” by using my new DVC points I looking to purchase towards the stay at Aulani.

There is a June UY contract with 500 points for 2020, half are banked from 2019. Then 250 for June.

So, with the Covid extension, when do the banked points expire?🤔

Can I borrow half from June 2021?

Thank you in advance as I learn all of this!!

June 2, 2021 is in the 2021 UY for a June UY. You could bank the 2020 points to use but the 2019 will expire the end of May 2021. You could also borrow from 2022 (right now you would be able to borrow 50% of the 2022).

Could I move my ceremony up by a week, use the 2019 points and 2020 points, plus borrow 50%from 2021?

The COVID-19 banking extension do not apply to you or anyone else in 2021.

the extension was given for 2018 points with a UY of April, June, August, Septembe and October which all had been banked into 2019 and used to make a reservation during the resort closure time.

if points was not used during the closure time they aren’t eligible to be extended.

Yes.

You need to fully understand the risks of using your 2019 points in their last week of validity though. Especially if you did not bank the 2020 points.
That’s a very good point. I’m going to keep looking.
