PLEASE HELP=== DME question--

My sister is flying in from Atlanta-- and my daughter and I are in Florida and are driving down--and going directly to the resort-- can my sister use the Disney Magical Express to get to Pop Century from the airport???? The only things is--- that since it is a weekend trip-- I am sure she will only bring carry on luggage and wont check any pieces. Do this matter? I am LOST-- can anyone help? We are arriving on January 20th--

Yes, as long as her name is registered at one of the resorts. For example, in September we all left on a Wednesday and rented a car, but one of my daughters came in on Friday and used the DME service to get from the airport to Pop. She had a carry on and did not check her bag. I called and made arrangements for her to use DME and she even received her luggage tags (which she did not use) and did it all within 2 weeks of arriving. She got to the airport around 8:30AM and was at Pop by 9:00AM. She thought it worked great for her. She did not use it on the way home, but could've. Hubby drove her to the airport and dropped her off since we were staying longer. You do need to call and register her with DME, though I hear also accept walk-ups, I wanted to make all of the arrangments for her.

No more walkups for Magical Express effective 11/1/05. You need reservations 10 days in advance Disney bound, changes allowed any time, or one day in advance homebound. Once in awhile they will allow a reservation on shorter notice, feel free to ask.
