Please help! DME question

We leave for WDW tomorrow morning at 6 am. American Airlines called us at 7pm tonight, with a recording that our flights have changed with a new arrival time 2 hours later. After being on hold with them over 2 hours trying to change it, I gave up and accepted the new flight. I tried calling Disney, but they were already closed (I'm PST). Can I still use DME? If I call them in the morning with new flight info, can I still use the yellow luggage tags we recieved, or are those specific to our original flights? Also, will we receive our luggage same day with an arrival time of 6pm? I'm so stressed b/c it's so last minute. Thank you for any info!

I bet you'll be fine. Flights get delayed all the time, so Disney has to be ready for that.

How late is your arrival time? You can skip the yellow tags and grab your bags from the luggage carrousel yourself, if you are concerned about when you'll get them.

I just realized I didn't post the time we arrive, I'm a scatter brain tonight! We arrive at 6 pm. Also, our original flight was cancelled, so we do have new flight #'s.Thanks!

You are totally fine. Arriving 6pm means bags arriving around 10pm so if you're ok with that put the tags on. If that's not ok, don't put them on and get them at the baggage carousel and take them on the bus.

Going mco to WDW you aren't assigned a bus; just a day. You are totally fine.

You are fine. Last year we stopped and had lunch in the airport and got to DME about 90 minutes after our flight landed. No issue whatsoever.

You'll be fine. Disney/DME really doesn't care exactly what time you arrive. But....here's the thing. If your flight arrives, on time, at 6pm, you won't reach your resort until around 7:30 (probably sooner). We are told, by Disney, to expect our bags in our rooms up to 3-4 hrs after resort checkin. So, you may not see your bags until past 10:30-11. If that's okay with you, fine.
If you would rather have your bags to get unpacked, then don't tag them and get them at baggage claim yourself.

You can just relax. Whenever you get to Orlando, you can get on DME, you don't even have to notify them. Your luggage will be fine with the yellow tags you already have, as long as your flight arrives before 10:30 PM.

We've never had an issue when flights have delayed and such.
