One small question -- people seem to pretty frequently quote the AAA room only discount to be about 10 percent for deluxes. Maybe I've gotten extremely lucky, but I consistently get 15 percent off for room only deluxes. Maybe season has something to do with it -- we usually go pretty only in value. It actually turns out to be a little more than 15 percent, when you take into account the extra tax savings.
I'm planning a trip for December 2006, and as much as I want the dining package, I just decided that booking packages through AAA is too much of a mess. I'm going with an AAA room only rate, booked with an online disney specialist TA. When summer '06 comes around, if I can get a code that saves me as much on the room as I have now and includes dining, I'll go for it.
