Please help decide- AoA, BWvilla, Saratoga Springs or OKW?

My friend is helping another friend in planning a surprise trip and she is struggling with resort decision. She is scheduled to stay at the Art of Animation and wants an extra room and it is a 1 bedroom...but is it worth an extra $1000 to stay at Boardwalk Villas? Anyone have any opinions on Boardwalk, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs or Art of Animation???

I recently had a friend stay at AoA and they did not love it. It's all personal choice of course.

Can they look at renting DVC points? That is such a great way to do DVC without the high resort prices. If they don't need the kitchen, I'd suggest connecting rooms. We have 5 in our party and always felt 2 connecting was enough for us.

I'd also suggest renting DVC points to make a villa more affordable. I would only suggest it to the people if they are willing to research the DIS boards and understand how it works.
