I have been looking for light up wings for my dd's tinkerbell costume. I did manage to find real tink wings that light up on ebay and the seller said they are from WDW. Now I love them but that seller wants $30.00 for htem and I think that's a bit much. I love my kids but $30.00 is alot for a less than 2 year old to wear them for an hour or two! Anyway- I was wondering of anyone has seen these at WDW and if so then can you tell me how much WDW is charging and how I can get a pair? Thank you so much! :earsgirl:

Gosh, I wish my wife has your "common sense". She can spend over $100 for each of our girls' halloween costumes, renfest, and Disney outfits. Each, mind you.

This is the problem when you marry a costume seamstress.

Considering a t-shirt in Disney World can cost $20, a set of light up wings for $30 or around there doesn't seem unreasonable in Disney economics :) That's just my opinion though :)

try calling and see if you can get them direct from Disney. ~Mandy

I agree about calling. I saw some things on ebay that were straight from the park, can't remember the seller's site name, but when I called Disney merchandising they were less than half the price, even with shipping! Oh yeah, it was the license plates. They go for ~$8 at WOD and they were asking $20 plus shipping. Here is the number for Disney merchandising (WOD) 407-828-1451. Here is a number for Disney Mail Order, this is all the stuff available at all the parks (I think) 407-363-2600. Good luck. To me, even for DIsney, $30 seems steep!

I got some white light up ones in one of the halloween shops online. Sorry I can't remember which one. Try to search for light up wings.

Deb

I think I paid 11.99 plus shipping

Great info on this. I'm very interested in getting some type of princess outfit for DD for her first trip, and this info will really come in handy!

Ebay has light up cinderella outfits that are so pretty! The skirt lights up with fiber optic blue lightst! :earsgirl:

we were in DTD early Sept and they had the light up wings then. I didn't look at the price since I bought dd Tink on sale last yr several sizes bigger then she needed to justify the price. They were in World of Disney and I think I saw them somewhere else also.
