Hi,

Very recently on the Universal site there was a special offer to buy two annual prefered passes for $250 (I think it was ).I have just gone on to Universal site to buy them and see the offer is over:( I don't know when this ended, was it recently?

The annual pass is now $149 +tax for a limited period. Is this a good price as I've never checked it before and have nothing to compare it with:rolleyes: (I don't know what it usually is)

I thought maybe I'd buy one of those to get discounts etc. and three other power passes,is that a good idea?!

Any advice from those much more knowledgable than me would be appreciated:cool:

Karen, alot depends on how long you are staying and will you be doing the parks each day? Also, will you be returning within a yr?

Hi,

Sorry I didn't get back on yesterday:(

We are going in October and will visit IOA/US for two or three days.We will do fullish days at the aprks and unfortunately won't be returning within a year.

Ironically the annual power pass even with tax is about $15 cheaper than any two day IOA/US ticket on the UK market!

Is the preferred pass a good price at $160?

On the Fan CLub site there are are bonus passes (purchase online) good for 5 consecutive days for 89.95 adult, and 76.95 for a child. Do you have a Fan Club Card? If not Ill give you the code off mine.

Bonus Pass

Plan ahead and save over $150 versus the cost of five single-day tickets. Plus, purchase now and save an additional $10 (regularly $99.95) per ticket for a limited time! The Universal Bonus Pass gives you the flexibility of visiting Orlando's two best theme parks anytime during your vacation. This ticket is only available online.

Limit of six (6) tickets per purchase
Signature required on ticket and photo ID must be presented at front gate

Thanks Mary and Jessica,

I did see the five day pass but the down side is it has to be used in five consecutive days and for another $10 I would rather have the flexibilty of the power pass that will mean I can go at the begiining and end of my twelve days:p

Can I ask if the $160 for a preferred annual pass is a good price? How much is it usually?

Cheers:bounce: :Pinkbounc

The deal on the PAP is a pretty good one, yes. The other avenues that have discounted these passes has been AAA, but I doubt that would help you. :( I just saw this thread on the UK board maybe this would work for you? Take a look!

* Sorry Kazzie! I just read you arent going until October so that deal wont work either :( MAYBE they will extend it as time gets closer to your dates?

Thanks very much:)

I will keep an eye on the exchange rate and make a decision then:D
