We have never made ADRs before, and our 180+ is Monday. We usually just grab a bite and go, and we've never done character dining or worried about where to eat. It has always been about the rides and entertainment, and now I am all of the sudden obsessed with where and what to eat. I would love any suggestions or input. We've only eaten at 3 of these places before. Here goes...

17th- Arrive: Planet Hollywood for dinner (We always eat here our first night)
18th-MK day: Hopefully BBB around 8:05, CRT 12:00, not sure about dinner? Suggestions?
19th-Epcot: Breakfast in room, lunch around the World, dinner at Rose and Crown
20th- Breakfast at Ohana, go back to AKL for resort fun, dinner at Tony's, (ate here once on honeymoon) MNSSHP
21st- HS: Breakfast in room, lunch at Sci-Fi (we always eat here but would gladly change to H&V if by some miracle Jake & the Neverland Pirates were here instead of Little Einsteins...I know, not likely), dinner at Boma
22nd-AK: Breakfast at Tusker House, Sanaa for dinner before heading to HS for F!
23rd- Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, heading home :'(

Our girls will be 5 and 2. My little one loves Minnie, but is Chef Mickey's the only dining option with her? Should I change one of my days to Chef Mickey's? Is there anything I'm missing or need to add? What about Crystal Palace? Is it okay to do Boma and Sanaa? I am a vegetarian, DH eats fish, and the girls eat all meat. I really want to try Le Cellier, but would it be silly to go to a steakhouse for cheese soup? Input gladly welcomed! Thanks so much!!:goodvibes

Are you on the dining plan?

Minnie can also be seen at Cape May Cafe sometimes. We really enjoy that breakfast so if you are in that neighborhood that may be a good option

Food wise Crystal Palace is a must do for us! The characters are great too, but be a better parent than I was and show the kids a Pooh movie or show. My kids had no clue who they were!

We are doing Le Cellier for lunch so it is just 1 TS credit (if you are doing the dining plan and care about that). We have the "Cooking with the Disney Chef's" book and the recipe for the Cheddar Cheese soup is in there, and they might have it on the internet. If you use Cabots white cheddar cheese (they sell it at the Walmart here in KC) and Canadian beer (we use Moosehead) it tastes every bit as good as the restaurant!

Good luck with your ADR's and have fun!

Crystal Palace or a resort restaurant for dinner on your MK day. Maybe Chef Mickey's if you're wanting characters.

My first suggestion would be to do the F! Dinner packate. Less waiting in line with little ones.

If your little one really wants to see Mickey I would switch the Ohana breakfast to the Cape May Breakfast.

After having lunch at CRT I would probably just do a cs for dinner - maybe go over to DTD and have dinner at Wolfgang Puck Express. If you want to do a ts dinner I would do either Chef Mickeys or an EPCOT restaurant such as Biergarten (great entertainment for the kids) or Tutto Italia.

Have fun!

Thank you all so much for the replies! I am still so overwhelmed and ADRs and on the morning. We are not on the dining plan, but now I am wondering if it will save us some money. Decisions, decisions...

The package may save you money depending on what special offers Disney is offering during your vacation time. One benefit would be that you wouldn't have to prepay for CRT if you have the dining plan. They would just take your credit card info and maybe do a $1 pre-authorization on your card.

One thing that I would advise is to make your ADRs in the order of the most importance to you.

We love Crystal Palace!!! Not only is it great to eat with Pooh and his friends, the food is actually really good and it makes for a great night to watch wishes and electrical parade since you'll be right there.

I would DEFINITELY do Crystal Palace! We do it everytime we go to MK, and we don't even have kiddos--it's me and my mom! The characters are great, the food is too. And they have a little parade around the restaurant that the kids get to participate in. So cute! Also, if you're doing Tusker for the character breakfast, Minnie will probably be there. She was in December on our last trip.

You're actually gonna be beating us there by a couple days--leave us a breakfast reservation for CRT, lol!

HTH, have fun on your trip!!!
