Please help-airfare ?

I just checked SWA and the rates are down from when I booked. I booked at $706 for 4 tickets and now they are down to $626!! My question is how do I get the difference? Do I call them or can I do it online? I know that they don't refund your money but that they give you a credit right? This could be an insentive for my husband too take me on another vacation within the year. So please help!! Thank you!

I don't know much about SW, but if you go to www.flyertalk.com you should be able to find out. There are forums for each airline. Look for the miles & points forum, then for Southwest Rapid Rewards. Don't worry that it's a frequent flyer program forum, the people there will be happy to try to answer your question. Good luck.

You have a couple of options.

You can go in and cancel your original reservations and just rebook. That may be what you need to do if the new rates are internet specials.

I would call SW and have them look at your ticket and make suggestions. If they do tell you to rebook they will cancel the tickets. You then will use your confirmation number to pay for the new tickets. You just book as normal on the web and when it gets to the payment screen select "Use Ticketless Travel funds"

Just wanted to let you guys know that I called SWA and spoke with a very nice and helpful gentleman by the name of Jim. He asked me for my confirmation # and checked for a price difference and then told my that my $80 in savings would be put back on my credit card. I thought that my tickets were non-refundable and that I would only get a credit. But then when I received my confirmation e-mail it stated that I have an $80 credit towards a future purchase. Oh well guess I'll have to start planning another vacation. Can't let that $80 go to waste. Thanks for all your help.
