So I really need with planning our meals for our upcoming week in May. We will be staying in an off property villa so we will have a full kitchen we can cook in but who wants to cook all the time.

I don't know enough about the ADR but was hoping to get some advice from you Disney vets!

When I was at WDW in October I only ate at one sit-down place in Magic Kingdom... I cannpt remember the name it was right to the right of the giant hat!!!

Anyways what restraunts are to not be missed.....

When should I make reservations?

What do I need to do to get the best experience????

Who will be dinning with you?
Do you have any children? and how old?

It is just my hubby and I ~ we are in our mid 20's.

No kids..... I want fun places that aren't going to be $100 for dinner.

Are there buffet places? Do you need reservations for them?

The giant hat sounds like MGM and my guess is the restaurant was the Brown Derby. Glad you enjoyed your meal.

Relax, I think you can have a good experience at just about any of the Disney restaurants. Give us a bit more info and I think the "vets" will give you lots of feedback, probably more than you want!

Who is in your group? ie. kids w/ages and gender, number o adults
Any special dietary needs or other restrictions?
Do you want all meals in the park or would you consider eating at a Disney hotel?
Are you interested in character meals and is are there any characters that are a must, either to avoid or see.
What parks will you visit? Do you have park hopper tickets or will you only go to one park per day?

Here is a sample day for us (two adults and 5yo boy):
We spent our first morning at the Magic Kingdom. We took the monorail to Epcot in the early afternoon for lunch at Coral Reef in Epcot. We then went back to our hotel for naps on the rainy afternoon before coming back to the Magic Kingdom for the Pirate and Princess party. I grabbed veggie burger meals at Peco Bill's and we ate while we watched the parade go by. Didn't like our meals much, but we ate something. Coral Reef was a great lunch.

I recomend reservations. Le Cellier in Canada must do! Best Steaks.
do you want charater meals?:yay:

I don't mind where we eat as long as it is good and not incredibly expensive!

It is just hubby & I so we are very flexible. I would like to go to a character meal. I have been to the breakfast at the Polynesian and it was great. I have heard things about Chef Mickeys is that buffet? I am sure my husband would love a bufet.

We will be at Disney 4-5 days and will have hopper tickets so please any advice about anything would be great!!

The last time I was in Disney was in October but I was with the family I nannied for so I was just following.......this will be my very first trip on my own terms!!! Super Excited!!!

Also if anyone could suggest thier favorite places to eat. I want to try Kona cafe, Chef Mickey's & possibly Crystal Palace.

What place is the place where you can see Cinderellas castle?
