Please Help! AAA 4 Day Basic Myw Tickets $221??

I am very confused here. I called the AAA 1-800 # 2 days ago and the lady told me Disney Basic 4 day tickets would be $185 plus 6% tax for adults and $148 plus 6% tax for kids. She also said to call my local AAA office to see if they had any old Park Hoppers left and those would be $209 with tax and a better deal. So today i just called my local AAA office and they told me they were all out of Park Hopper tickets, and MYW basic 4 day tickets for adults was $221? That's even more than what's on the DW website, how could that be right? I asked the lady to double check that, and she did and said that she was 100% sure that $221/adults was right for the base tickets. And why was i told 2 different prices. So did anyone here order 4 day basic tickets using AAA, if so how much did you pay? Thanks!

$221 sounds like a AAA-discounted price for 4-day base + hoppers, which are $234 from Disney but e.g. $225 from TicketMania. The most likely explanation is that the local AAA agent you talked to didn't know what s/he was talking about, even though s/he "looked it up."

Each regional AAA club will be free to set their own prices for tickets, so be sure to let us know to which AAA you belong; others in other regions may well be getting different deals. This also makes it possible to be getting different deals from "AAA"; if the 800 # you called was not part of the same region as the local club office, that can also explain the difference in knowledge/prices/whatever.

Oh, I see! I don't want the Hopper passes, I want 4-day base tickets with no hopper. I'm not sure if they have just the basic no hopper tickets, she acted like those were the only 4 day tickets. Thanks for the info, i will call back.

They may well be the only 4-day tickets that that particular AAA office sells.
