I'd appreciate any opinions on my itinerary (sp). We're going in May and ADRs have been made.

Day 1 : Arrival at MCO at 12:10
ME to VWL/get settled
5:40 ADR at Chef Mickey's
(DD1's 2nd bday)

Day 2: Magic Kingdom at opening
c/s for lunch then return to resort about 2
6:00 ADR at Akershus
walk around WS or go to MK

Day 3: MGM at opening
11:30 ADR at Sci Fi
Return to resort 1:30 ish
5:30 ADR at Crystal Palace
Spectro/Wishes

Day 4 AK (may go after a sleep in morning)
c/s for lunch
Evening is flexible - maybe MK but I really want to get to DTD

Day 5: SeaWorld (probably 9-3)
c/s for supper
Evening flexible - depends on how kids are doing

Day 6: Early EMH at MK
10:30 ADR at Ohanas
Back to resort?
Late afternoon to Epcot FW
6:00 ADR Coral Reef

Day 7: Favorites Day - spend am in whatever park kids agree on
c/s for lunch then back to resort
1:30 apptmnt at BBB in DTD for DD4
5:30 ADR for CRT & spend the evening in MK

We're only attending one early emh because MGM is open early on Saturday which is our traveling days, AK I don't think we need to get up early for as our kids are young and probably won't go on the rides there, Epcot - need to go easy on one park and this is the one we picked. May try evening emh not sure yet and may try Illuminations. Fantasmic out for this trip.

Kids will be ages 2, 4 & 7. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I appreciate any opinions. Hoping we'll have enough time in MK - I'm sure this will be my kids' fav.

Joanne

I wasn't sure what forum to post on so this is also posted on the Family forum as well.

Day 2: I'd suggest you hang out in WS. Maybe get the kids passports so they can have them stamped in the countries. Try to ride Maelstrom in Norway and El rio del tiempo in Mexico. You may see some characters in various locations. Let them get a few autographs. The genie and alladin are in Morroco.

Day 4: I'd go early to AK and fastpass safari then I'd take them to see the new Nemo show. We usually try to see the Lion King and we also do It's tough to be a bug. Tusker house has great CS. If you want to go to DTD, get it in.

That's my 2 cents! You have a great schedule planned. Loads of pixie dust to you and your family :tink: :tink: :tink: !

I like the idea of being there at park opening, but you may want to take your afternoon break an hour or so earlier--around 12:30 or 1. Not sure when you're going in May, but the weather can be quite warm and humid. If you stay until 2, that's 5 hours or so out in the Florida sun, heat and humidity. The little ones may handle it better if you head back a little earlier before it gets too hot.

On Day 4 I think we will keep to the same schedule as the other days and go early to AK in the morning and do safari and the trails. We'll have to check out the Lion King. Thanks for the tips. I guess if everyone is really tired we could sleep in but I'd like to keep the same routine .

On Day 2 I would like to visit WS - good for the kids too! We'll see what happens.

Thanks for the tip - I agree. We'll maybe have snack mid morning so we can get more park time before lunch. Then have lunch around 12:00 and then head out. I remember when we went in May of 1995 it was unusually hot in 90's. I remember the bus driver saying that Florida was breaking some records that month. We're going the 2nd week of May.
