Please Give Me Info on AKV

I'm thinking ahead to staying at AKV. We are a family of 5 and would like to stay in a 1BR. What rooms/buildings are available now? When will the rest be open? Which 1BRs would we be able to stay in - Are value 1BRs the only ones without the sleeping chair for the 5th person? What is the view from a standard view room? Thank you!

I'm thinking ahead to staying at AKV. We are a family of 5 and would like to stay in a 1BR. What rooms/buildings are available now? When will the rest be open?

The only part of AKV that is open now is "Jambo House" which occupies most of the 5th floor and all of the 6th floor of the Lodge building. The new building is called "Kidani Village" and we have no official word on when it will open but the Units currently being sold there have an occupancy date of May 1, 2009. I have no idea whether some part of Kidani Village might open earlier than that date.

Which 1BRs would we be able to stay in - Are value 1BRs the only ones without the sleeping chair for the 5th person?

Value 1BRs accommodate four people, the 1BRs in the other booking categories (Standard View, Savanna View, Concierge) accommodate five. All 1BRs have the sleeper chair but in the Values there isn't enough room to have both the sleeper chair and sleeper sofa open at the same time.

What is the view from a standard view room?

In Jambo House all of the Standard View villas face the pool area. In Kidani Village, Standard View villas will have a view of a pool, garden or parking lot.
