We have been to Disney several times and decided to try something new this year...YEAH! The kids are finally agreeable!

We are going to be there the second week of August. Any guess on just how bad the crowds will be? We are staying onsite and will have the express pass so I am hoping that this will help. We will only have 3 days.

We are so excited to finally go...

Any other advice or tips...I greatly appreciate it.

TIA
Kathy

welcome to the darkside.

i hope your trip to UO will be great for the entire family.

first read the stickies on the forum top pages.
that is very helpful.

also, go to the universalorlando.com website to explore the parks and layout.
find out info on characters and shows that are at universal.

you can always call guest services and ask for them to mail you the park guide to check out the shops, resturants and rides/attractions locations.

go to deb's site of all ears and check out the menu at the parks
check out city walk website for things you might take in there.

the express pass you have by staying onsite will thrill you.

you show your hotel key and are allowed to use the express lanes.
you can repeat rides all you want.

if your kids are little and don't meet the height requirement, or too fearful of doing a ride, utilize the child swap program.

your waits will be minimum with the express lane.

You will love, love, love the express pass from staying onsite. The second week in Augsut will still be fairly busy but you won't even notice with your hotel express.
