I was laughing so hard that tears came to my eyes and my co-worker had to ask what was so funny--so I told her. Now both of us are in tears. Then this prompted stories about past toilet encounters...at least this day is starting out on a happy note.

Just use your foot like I do, although the vision of a dancing potty sprite is too cute!

I should specify that I do contortionist moves while doing my dancing potty sprite dance. In the sardine-can stall, I shake and dance and maneuver. If that doesn't trigger the automatic flusher, My dance become more hectic, including the contortionist foot-lift-in-the-bathroom-stall move, to kick the button. Hope everyone washes their hands!!

The worst is when you are going potty, the automatic flush thingie goes off, and you get sprayed. GAG.

At one of the offices I go to, they built the building with the automatic toilets. Yesterday, I noticed they had a sign up saying they had removed the automatic component of the toilets and changed them to manual flush due to so much dysfunction.

The thing about automatic flushers is this: The flush is rarely timed just right.

I read that putting a post-it over the sensor will stop the automatic flusher, and then you can flush by pressing the button when you are ready for it to flush. My dd is terrified of the toilets at WDW and I'm bringing post its with us so she can "go" in peace.

One more thing about the automatic flusher is that these toilets are usually TURBO TOILETS! They flush with a huge suction power, and the back splash is just about inevitable.
