We have not moved from one resort to another before and this time we are doing it twice. We are at the WL for 4 nights, then POR for 7 nights then CBR for 2 nights. Can you explain to me the easiest way for us to transfer our luggage from resort to resort? Exactly what do we do to arrange it? How does tipping the bellman work in this scenario? Thanks!

Wow , you are resort hopping! Each resort should transfer your luggage for you. We were just at CBR and they have white vans that say WDW Transportation on the doors for Luggage. We hopped over to WL our last night for dinner and saw the same white vans there, so you should have any problem. When checking in at your first resort see exactly what you need to do.

As for tipping... I don't know. DH usually takes care of that and when they brought our luggage to us last week, I was out getting coffee.

Just call bell services at the resort you are leaving the night before your move or early in the A.M. the morning of your move and tell them you need your luggage picked up from your room and moved to the other resort. You will have to be in your room for them to take your luggage and you should tip the bellman who takes your luggage. Bell services at your new resort will put your luggage in your new room, you do not have to be there to accept your luggage but you do have to be checked in and have a room assigned. Another option is for you to schlep your own luggage down to bell services yourself and request the transfer down there.

You don't say if you will have a car or not to transport yourselves from one resort to another. If you do not have a car you can have the front desk call a cab for you. If you don't want to take a cab, or plan on going to a park that day anyway, then just take a bus, boat, or monorail to a park and when you are ready to go to your new resort just take some form of Disney transportation to your new resort.

Ok you are more adventureous than I would ever be, 3 resorts in 13 nights. I would pack lightly.

The night before let Bell Services know you are moving the next day and to which resort. That day call them to come and pick up your luggage, you will have to wait in your room for them to come. They will tag the luggage and you keep the call tag. Make sure you make note of how many pieces of luggage you gave them. Tip this person.

You will not get your luggage until after 3pm or later so plan accordingly. Make sure there is nothing in the luggage being moved that you do not need. After you get your new room and it's after 3pm you call the Bell Services of the new resort and ask to have your luggage delivered if its arrived they will bring it up. You will need to be in the room and have your luggage tags, tip this guy.

Repeat this process at each move. Or move it yourself in your car. Based on prior experience with moving from one resort to another I would not suggest making any early dining reservations as you never know for sure when you will get your new room or luggage. We have missed some ADRs due to moving and late luggage arrival.

Not sure which resorts you have moved from, but we have never stayed at a moderate or deluxe disney resorts (and we have stayed in all of them) where they would put the luggage in your room without your being there.

Where did they do this for you? They told us they have to hold it until the guest is in the room to accept it.
