Please explain the Planet Hollywood Voucher

With my confirmation I saw a line item indicating Planet Hollywood vouchers for each of us. Would someone please explain what this includes? We are going in Sept so we have the dining but I have all my TS credits planned out so this could be a nice bonus. It will just be my DD6 and I.

The voucher is not for "each" of you. You get 1 voucher. That means 1 meal for your party with a limited selection.

We received the package for our trip last week, and it included one Planet Hollywood voucher, good for a choice of any burger platter, a ceasar salad, OR, Pasta Pomodoro. It also includes one softdrink.

However, there are four of us, and the package was only ONE voucher good for ONE person, so at least for us, it is pretty much worthless.

I agree a single coupon is worthless.

We should all gather these single coupons and give groups of them to the Disers that want to go to Planet Hollywood. That way their whole party will get a free dinner. I personaly don't care for the food at PH.

I may be wrong, but I am figuring that they will not accept more than one voucher per party. I guess you can try getting seperate checks - not sure how cooperative they would be about that though.

Also, does anyone know if the vouchers are good only at the Downtown Disney location, or at any Planet Hollywood. I would use it if it was good at the Times Square location. My kids are always begging me to go there when we go to Manhattan - oh I just love paying $20 for a burger!!!

Do they include an appetizer and dessert like the DDP or just the entree and drink?

It seems like somebody said the voucher has your name on it and can not be used by someone else. I can also totally see it being "one coupon per table". I also think it had restrictions on the times it can be used, and possibly the days. The only time we will be at DTD is a Saturday morning. We might pop in and see if they will allow us to use it for lunch. If not, I guess we won't use it at all! I won't have my paperwork until July so I guess I will read the fine print when the voucher arrives.

We're going to WDW on the dining plan this fall. I know we'll be eating a lot of food, so when we go to Planethollywood with the voucher, can we share the entree and drink? I don't think we'd like to order a whole other entree if we don't need to.... TIA!

I'll take any vouchers that nobody wants. We're going to Disney and love it there and planned on eating there and splitting the check but if anyone is just going to toss thiers then I'd be happy to take them off your hands!

While I've never eaten at PH Disney World, it's been my experience at PHs all over the world that the portion size is quite small, especially for the price you're paying. At least this one is free, but unless WDW's PH is different, I wouldn't count on being able to share the entree and feel full afterwards.

Thanks for this info! Our plan is to eat a late lunch at PH, have a 2 for 1 sundae at Ghiradelli and then go to MNSSHP that night. I'm hoping that between the voucher at PH, the sundaes at Ghiradelli and the candy from the Halloween party, that we'd have enough food.

I have the voucher in hand, and unfortunately they are dated and printed with a name, and marked non-transferable. Wouldn't do any good to send it to someone.

It was very specific about only 1 per party/table. We had 2 rooms so 2 vouchers but no way to use them at the same time. It also had our names and expired when we checked out.

Needless to say we didn't use the vouchers, it's not somewhere we'd eat anyway....
