Please explain the Planet Hollywood Voucher

I'm confused, why would it be worthless? Is it excluded from use when someone at the table is on DDP? Couldn't you use voucher for one meal and TS credit for another?

I called Planet Hollywood and asked if we could use 2 vouchers at 1 table, because we are going with my Sister & BIL and they are on a seperate package, but we'd like to sit at the same table and they told be we could use both.

I don't know if we will ever make it there, but I just wanted to make sure just in case we stopped by.

We just received our Planet Hollywood vouchers with our luggage tags and hotel vouchers. We leave in about 5 weeks.
The Meal Voucher only includes one entree and drink, not even gratuity. It says that it is only valid at Downtown Disney West Side, one entree per reservation.
There doesn't seem to be any time limit, just says Valid 1/1/06 thru 12/31/06.

The Merchandise Voucher must be redeemed between 11am and 6pm. One keepsake per package. Must be redeemed on or prior to check-out of the resort hotel. No idea what the keepsake is!

We have res for dinner first night at 7, so guess we won't be able to get the "keepsake". We'll use the "meal" voucher if my DD12 is in the mood for a burger, or if the Pasta looks good to me. Otherwise, we'll just use the TS credit and forget the voucher!

We used our Planet Hollywood voucher in January. Our DD (13) used it, it was for either a hamburger platter or select pasta meals. She chose burger platter, I think her meal would have been around $7.00.

The merchandise voucher was a little planet hollywood keychain.

I'm glad to see this thread on the voucher. I remembered reading about the voucher somewhere, but could not remember any details. This board is so great for info!-

I wouldn't say the voucher is totally worthless. One free is better than no free I always say! We'll probably eat there because the kids like the atmosphere.

Can you list what the selected entrees are?? Does it say on the back?? I know before some people said they could choose from any burger/sandwhich, Salad or Pasta dish. But then I read that it was limited burgers, salads & pasta dishes.

We wanted to try the California Lasgna and if it's not an option, I'd don't think we'd even consider going.

For anyone who used their voucher(s) already, did they check that you were the person whose name is on the voucher, or just look at the name and see if you were the right age/gender? The reason I ask is that we have a party of 6, so we got two vouchers, one in my name and one in my dh's name. I know my hubby and I won't eat there, but my SIL and FIL want to go by themselves and use the vouchers. I was hoping they wouldn't be too strict about whose name is on the voucher b/c they are in our group and we were never asked who we wanted the voucher to be for.

My voucher says the same thing that ESTNH posted.

I checked the menus at allearsnet and it looks like the "approved" entrees cost $9.95 - $10.95. Plus a beverage.

I suppose since we're eating there on the meal plan, it would probably work well since we'll have 2 other entrees PLUS 2 appetizers and 2 desserts! Works out to plenty of food!
