We decided to do Fantasmic in August and do the dining plan with the
Brown Derby. Here's my question...I know there's a set price for the meal, but are there only certain menu items you can choose from? Thanks for any help, and sorry if this is a repeat question!

From what we have read, it looks like you can order off regular menu with
appetizer, entree, dessert and non-alcoholic drink, children have their choice as well and must order from the children's menu with soup or salad, entree, dessert and children's drink.

Does anyone know what is offered on the MM fantasmic package menu (or maybe what isn't offered compared to the regular MM menu on allears)?

Thanks!!

Since we're on the topic, can anyone tell me, with the Fantasmic package, do you need to show up for the show as early to get a seat in the reserved section as you do without the Fantasmic Package? Do they run out of room? Is it something that you can show up about 5 minutes before the show and still end up with good seats?

How full do they fill the reserved section, and what part of the amphitheater is it in?

They recommend you arrive 30 minutes prior. (It's about an hour prior without the package.) I would arrive early (30 minutes or more on busy days) to get good seats. The reserved section is on the far right side (as your facing the 'stage'). The CMs will only hold it for so long. Once it's close to showtime, they'll leave and then it's open to anyone (if it's not full already that is). The best seats are in the center though. If it's not that busy and there are plenty of seats in the center, grab 'em. Otherwise, grab the seats in the reserved section. We sat there. It's not too bad at all.

H&V is buffet, BD is sit down with no restrictions and MM has a seperate menu.

MM has also not received very many good review so you might want to factor that in when making your selection. Asfor when you need to arrive, 30-45 minutes is fine and you will also be going in through a special entrance. The reserved seating is not dad center but you really don't have a bad seat in most sections

Depending on what day you go, crowd levels will obviously fluxuate and also keep in mind that inclement weather could delay the show or in rare instances, cause the show to be cancelled.

As of April 07, you can order off the regular menu at both Brown Derby and MM. There is no special menu anymore.

With the Fantasmic package, you really should enter at 45 minutes before. On busy days, they can and do open up the package section to the general public at about 30 minutes till the show. The seats will no longer be guaranteed at that point. The seats are first come, first served. They are to the far right.

So how is the Brown Derby? MM has been getting bad reviews, not so sure about H&V.....BB is about at least $10 more p/p, adults anyway....is it worth it?

well i should have checked before posting...bd is 2 credits, but the others are 1, and as we're going to mm, i thought all were 1...sorry
