Please explain the EMH wrist band thing...

Does everyone have to physically go to the location to get their own wrist band? If I have everyone's room cards, can I get them? What do the wrist bands look like? Are they the kind that you have to cut to get them off? I'm assuming every park has their own color...

Please explain the procedure. And if anyone has a picture of a wrist band, please post.

Hi Budgetmom, and welcome to the DIS!

Every guest must get their own wristband, in person, and they are fitted on each person by the Cast Members. You will not be allowed to put it on yourself. They are the type you would normally cut off, but if you have a small hand you can slip them off with a little effort.

So, every person must show up at the wristband location (scattered around each park) and each person must show their room key. Then, once the CM puts your wristband on, you are free to remain in the park.
