I'll join you in that scream. We'll be there in 6 (hopefully very short) days. I can't wait to see the kids faces when they realize where we are going. I hope I can keep the secret while we're in LA for the days we're there before DL.

How on earth are you managing to keep it a secret?!! I had to do that for about a month until I was certain we were going, and even that killed me I was busting to tell them, just to see the look on their faces.

I amused myself in the meantime by coming up with a treasure hunt for clues around the house. The day I finally booked the plane tickets I picked the kids up from school and handed them an ancient looking scroll. Inside were riddles to find the location of the clues around the house. I thought for sure they were going to guess once they saw the clues but they didn't until finally DS looked at me and said in a quavering voice "a-a-a-re we going to DISNEYLAND FOR MY BIRTHDAY??"

It was one of the best moments of my life.
