I'm confused by the dates---If she came here on 7/27 trying to find coupons for Starbucks and at the same time already had some listed on her site then she didn't get them from here.

Plus her posts don't appear to go that far back and as near as I can tell the only items she has gotten from Disers were received in an exchange--Only one person in her post about her "friend" offered to send something

So if those items she had/has listed (which match a list she posted from an exchange) then those items are hers free and clear

And the whole thing about a pregnant friend came up in the last few days ((feel free to read all her posts--I did)) so how is it that anyone had the time to go buy her some stuff,bring it home,package it,mail it and have the post office deliver it so quick that she was able to receive it,photograph it and have it up in her ebay listings for a few days??

The same goes for the coupons others were trying to give away-I believe they offered either yesterday or the day before and all they said was "the first to pm me gets them" and she was the first. The OP of those posts did not require one to have a baby or to know someone having a baby their only requirement was you had to be the first to send a pm!

I think this has gone way overboard---If all those feeling free to post on the situation also felt free to read Tigger113's posts they would see that she mainly stuck to the exchange threads and free threads and the first mention of trying to help out ?whoever? was 7/19 on an exchange thread--So if someone did send her items at that time it fell under the exchange

As for her posts the last couple of days as to looking for people to ACTUALLY send stuff -----NOONE sent anything---So noone fell prey to the scam if that is actually what it was

As for the not "knowing about ebay" there is not one post of hers here that says anything to that effect---The only proof of that is a couple of posters who say she did it in a pm so not one other poster here can make any kind of definitive decision about the original OP without it

Yesterday I was one person who stuck up for the OP because people were posting info that may not have been true to try to make this person look worse--------Then they claimed that another poster was the original OP in disguise----But that doesn't fly because Tigger is in GA(according to her profile and posts she made here as well as her ebay acct) and the other poster listed CO in her profile as well as her vauction acct and since both auctions were running at the same time are we to believe that she is going to hop a plane to honor the sales she makes??

I think if everyone took the time to read what has been written and then form an opinion on their own instead of just jumping on the bandwagon and taking another posters words as gospel they would find that a lot of the info that has been posted in regards to this is wrong!

Now if someone who received the pm from the OP is willing to let me look at it and see that I may be wrong then ok I will accept that and I will post here that I WAS WRONG--but until then I will go by what I have read in the OP's past posts and continue to say that info in the last 3/4/5 threads that have run amuck are not 100% accurate

Anyone can do a search on her previous posts and read for themselves what has been written!

i like what you said, i think some people don't want to be logical or objective and that is why i try to be non judgemental and look at both sides

I'm sure your right, but I find this very sad. I guess I'd rather be taken than live my life suspect of everyone I meet.

Are you sure on this, because even on Mommy2Lots 3rd post upon joining the DIS, she states she's in Colorodo. ?? And in one of her last posts here on the DIS, she links to an auction site (not ebay) where she has a group of large baby items available by pick up only in Denver Colorado.

Not defending anyone here. I just don't see the definite connection. What key am I missing?

I am 100% positive on this. She probably went back into her profile and changed it, because last night it said her location was the same exact location as the OP. I was going to ask about it, but the thread locked before I could.

i think at times things just get blown out of term, my response was not meant to attack you it makes it difficult because you are reading and you cannot see the face or hear the tone of the person, it was not posted with any hard feelings.

She changed the dates on ebay. The items that I sent had a date of 7/2/06 on ebay. she recieved them on thurs I believe and they were found thurs night on ebay, She must have put them up as soon as she got them. and i know they are mine because it is the exact stuff I gave to her sister.

the pregnant with triplets thing came out last week, because I was going to send her more items for her friend when I was shopping her her sister but I was short on cash...so i decided to wait.

as for the starbucks thing she PM someone asking them how she could get them and the poster replied ebay, then she claimed she didnt know ebay well, could I get some from you.meanwhile she had been selling them already,

Those items for the exchange were not for her. they were meant for her sister, she was going to give them to her at her shower, when she got caught by another member on the closed thread, she said her sister didnt like them and wanted cash, for them. which would have been fine and dandy but her pM to me stated that they were for her sister with twins not her friend with triplets or ebay.

she also asked for mugs for her daughters collection which she has on ebay,


I contacted webmaster kathy , she is looking into it because she also beleive there is a scam going on. She also told me to contact her myself and not on the board which i did and asked her straight out if she was selling my things. her first post in disney families said that they were not the same ones, her private email to me stated that she had no idea what I was talking about and the clothes went to her sister and that I was crazy and I was harassing her all day. I only contacted her once by email and once on the post I started. I havent spoken to her since.


For the record, I dont care if she sold the stuff on ebay, yeah it sucks but its life,.its that fact that she repeatedly lied about stuff and was also trying to scam more people.

That's precisely my point... I haven't met them. And yes, it is sad. I think everyone would like to believe the next person is as honest as they themselves, but it can be a costly lesson to learn otherwise.

Upon investigation, the evidence does point to this person using the generosity of DIS posters for personal gain. As a result, she will no longer be posting here.

Although our policy is that exchanges and trades are done at your own risk and we do not mediate problems, this appeared to be an extreme case and we did intervene.

It's very sad that some will take advantage of others in this manner. Whether on the DISboards or anywhere else, it's smart to always be cautious of anyone you do not know. And be careful to not send anything of significant monetary or sentimental value to a stranger unless you are okay with it disappearing or being used for unknown purposes.

Now this sad story is over. I'm locking this thread, let's move on to happier topics!
