Does anyone reuse their mugs if its the same mug as your last trip?

What are you taking a vote, how many say break the rules and how many say don't? then you go with the majority?

No I don't know the answer- that is why I'm asking! I read you can't use a mug that has a different design. This is my first time returning to the world. Not everyone knows everything and has been countless times. These boards can be wonderful at times and then others you just run into rude people. I asked nicely and I also asked not to be flamed!

Mug policy-Your mug is good for your length of stay during the trip that you purchased the mug.

I am a little embarrassed to admit, but I did do this on my trip 5 years ago. A lady that I worked with had just went and she offered to let me use her mugs. Back then, I honestly had no idea how big of a deal that it was (did not know about the DIS boards!). Knowing what I know now, I probably would not do it again. However, I am not going to flame anyone who does.

Now they have gone to one type for EVERYTHING. this to me is BORING. So they are just asking me to use the same mug for every trip - until next year when they change it again. At least I hope they are changing it next year.

when they switched to one mug at all the resorts - they are saying - use it again. At least to me they certainly are.

if they want me to kept buying - then go back to every resort having their own!!!!

There is nothing hateful whatsoever in the my post. In fact I fly to Disney tomorrow.
If the OP looked at her Mugs she would see the rule right on it.
Also the question is asked in a way that clearly says she knows the answer.

Now if it had been phrased Can you reuse your mug on future trips, then my answer would simply have been no and state the policy.

I'm glad I asked.... We are going for our second trip in Jan. I didn't buy mugs on first trip. Some friends are going in Dec and offered to loan me their mugs for my trip. I think I will pass..... we are getting the dining plan and get drinks with our meals so we should be fine. Thanks for sharing

did get a mug on each trip - sometimes multiply mugs - really loved all the different design and resorts.

Now until they change their policy. Definitely bringing back the same mug.

for the entire year of 2007 it has been the same boring mug (CR at first had a different once - but they are now in the same boat with everyone else). at all the resorts.

Like different. If disney doesn't change their mugs to go with each resort - why should I kept buying one? Well I won't. IF disney is being so cheap that they even did away with the resort mug - well sorry!

We were at WDW in Oct. 2007 and purchased the new 2007 mugs, we also purchsed the POFQ mugs in March of 2007. If we were to return prior to Jan. 2008, when the new 2008 mugs come out, I have to admit, at the cost of purchasing a third set of mugs this year.......I would pack my mugs from Oct., and purchase new on our first trip in 2008.
