So, in the parks, there are signs posted everywhere that specifically say to NOT feed the animals. But, people do anyways:mad: At AK, the restaurants even give out little cards that say, "Your yummies are not good for our tummies." Do people need any more? Plus, when people feed the animals, they start to come after you for food!:scared1: Its scary! Back in 2008, i was eating fish and chips in the UK and the ducks were biting my feet!:scared1:

Does the feeding of the animals bother anyone else?

Yeah, it bothers me also, but people continue to do it. The last time I was at Casey's the ducks were all around the table.

I don't think the seagulls even bother to read the signs.

No matter how many signs are put up, people are going to feed the animals. Expecially the birds. They're "cute" and it's "cool" to watch them. So they're going to get fed.

I know I watched some poor duck at the swan/Dolphin pool trying to choke down a piece of pepperoni because some kid though it would be cool to feed them meat. I can't imagine pepperoni is good for ducks, but they don't know the difference.

those seagulls get out of hand sometimes because the SWOOP down on you

While eating fish & chips at Epcot, I had a chip stolen by a squirrel. I had to keep my hands over the container to keep him from getting any more of them.

And while eating at Flame Tree BBQ there was an older man at a table next to us who started to feed some of the birds that were wandering around, but his little grandson got really upset and told him the signs said not to do that :lmao:.

Well I hope he was embarassed afterwards by being told off by his grandson :rotfl: I find the birds to be extremely bad in the world show case and they are always trying to get food from us. I always see people feeding them too and it makes me sad. Its not good for them and it causes problems with them getting too comfortable with humans.

This past February, we were at POFQ watching the movie outside (Finding Nemo) on the courtyard while having dinner. A rabbit went right up to my son's plate and stole a french fry! He thought it was hilarious, until the rabbit kept coming back for more. I am sure people feed all those animals.

It isn't good for them and it certainly isn't good for us!

I watched a CM feed the birds at HS so even if they managed to reign in the guests, WDW needs to get their CMs to stop as well.

I lost an ice cream cone to a seagull at the world showcase. I had waited all afternoon for it and took one bite before the bird came down and knocked it right out of my hand. It was very saf

Just got back from AK and they handed those cards out at the barbecue place. I wonder what all those cards cost.

But in these times so many people think that they are superstars and special. Nobody is going to tell THEM what to do.

I agree with everyone in this thread!

One day at MK I saw a seagull swoop down and grabbed this girl's mickey ice cream bar! I couldn't believe it! I had never seen that before!

Than a short time later a seagull pooped right on my head! I know they say it's good luck but I would prefer some pixie dust in the future!

We were sitting at an outside table at the POP food court last week, when a bird flew down and stole a french fry off my son's plate as I stood up to take a picture. The picture captured the sneak attack. You can see a blur going towards the table.

My fear is being pooped on while at a park. I have this same fear going to work (downtown Chicago). Everyday I walk out of the train station and there are pigeons and gulls everywhere because of people feeding them. If I’m ever pooped on while someone nearby is throwing food, there will be a very unpleasant encounter with me. Magic and pixie dust will likely not be found anywhere.

And that, my friends is why I EAT THE ANIMALS!

But I'm only one man!!

Please join me in my crusade..............
