So my 180+10 is Tuesday and I think I finally have my plans down. Travelling with DH, DD who will be 9 and BFF (for the first 3 days). The 3 of us will likely end up on DDP but not sure yet, depending on discounts available at the time. DD confesses to still loving character meals and has specifically stated she wants to eat w Sophia and Doc McStuffins (my girl is still a llittle one at heart) and wants to meet the beast.

HS Day - Hollywood & Vine early breakfast before park opens
MK Day - BOG for dinner (If cant get, thinking of BOG for lunch or Ohana for
dinner - not sure
Epcot Day - Garden grill for dinner
HS day - BFF leaving so we will be doing DTD in AM and then HS at night -
50's Prime Time
Epcot Day - Akershus for early dinner - maybe A&E wll be added there by Feb?
keeping fingers crossed but DD will love it either way.
MK Day - Early Bfast at CP, maybe also BOG if we cant get earlier in the trip.
AK Day - Tusker house - late Bfast/early lunch

Any comments about the Wave? can you see fireworks from there? Was thinking for MK day 1 if we cant get BOG.

TIA!

We did this bfast in January. The characters were great! The food was ok too.

I would recommend trying for BOG on your MK day later in your vacation. The later in your +10, the better your chances. Also, Beast is not at lunch, only dinner. If seeing Beast is a must-do, try for dinner.

Epcot Day - Garden grill for dinner

Good choice I think. The character interaction was great here. The characters made multiple stops at our table.

You can not see Wishes from The Wave. You can time it so you can watch Wishes from the 4th Floor observation deck but that view isn't the best imo.

I think you have a great selection, and I'm always one for more reservations. It's always nice to have some things planned and it helps a lot with breaks!

Not sure when it starts but I read either on these boards or on wdwprep that it will in refurbishment in february - the dates I am there for sure 8-15.

The Wave is a good restaurant. It has quality food that features organic and sustainable ingredients. It's super convenient if you are staying at the Contemporary or Bay Lake. Also, it's a decent value on the dining plan (the kids can get smoothies for their drink). However, the theming is not special.

I would suggest either Ohana's or Chef Mickey's as an alternative. I feel these places have more Disney magic than the Wave.
