We would like to try one of these places at the Grand Floridian. Both menus look good. I would appreciate a little info about the atmosphere etc....

Thanks!

I have been to both and you really cannot compare, as the food is completely different as well as the atmosphere. Narcoosees has more an emphasis on seafood with a great view of the MK and is a bit on the noisy side. I love the food, it's excellent and I am looking forward to trying the lobster with vanilla bean sauce! Citricos on the other hand is more of French Bistro food - Excellent steaks and chops and an outstanding wine list . I think the food at Narcoosees is lighter and Citricos is not exactly heavy, but is more densley infused flavored food with reduction sauces. I have found Citricos to be much more quiet, adult type of restaurant. While all restaurants are Kid freindly, I have found Citricos to have less kids (at least the 4 or so times I have dined there) I would say as far as the GF restaurants with V&A's being the top I would say Cirticos is second. I love both restaurants equally but it depends on what you are looking for...If it's a romantic dinner - Citrico's Narcoosees is more laid back, louder, family. You cannot go wrong with either choice they are both excellent.

We've eaten at both spots a number of times--most recently last week!! I'll get around to reviews soon, but hard to improve on what Gonga said.
This trip Narcoosee's was very noisy--kids everywhere!! Citrico's was (as usual) only about 1/2 full--a few children, but mostly adults. I think the location of each adds to the atmosphere--Citrico's is right next to V&A, while Narcoosee's is right on the water. Service is relaxed and great at both spots. I suppose Narcoosee's could be considered a bit more casual, but we wear walking shorts to both spots and fit in just fine.
You've seen the menus, so no need to elaborate on that.
Hope this helps!

Uncleromulus-

Hoping Citricos hangs in there...only half full when you were there. It really is excellent food. I'm surprised it isn't more popular.

I always fear for Citrico's--the fact that it's closed on Mon. and Tues. isn't a good sign.
Actually 1/2 full was good to see. Virtually every other time we've eaten there, it's been 1/4 full, or less.

I used to love Narcoosees but the menu remainde unchanged for several years so I started going to Citricos instead
