I got a call from englishrose who is suppose to have the fridge right now, and luggage services is telling her that it is not there...

I left a voicemail for Marcia so I am sure she will get back to me when she gets a chance, and I also sent PoohsHubby a PM to see they they can help...

I am hoping that someone who used it recently can give us a description of what to have luggage services look for... Does it have a box? And there any stickers or any other ways to identifying it?

i'm so sorry, i got your voicemail, but my hours at work have been pretty horrendous. i heard from PoohsHubby that they couldn't get the fridge, so i will try to get in touch with anbouk who had the fridge before. i'm pretty sure my name and cell phone number is on the fridge, so that can be used to find it. and there is no box, since there was a problem with someone leaving perishables in the fridge... anyway, i will try to get in touch with anbouk and let you guys know the update.

When the fridge went missing in February, I asked luggage services if I could go back and look for it. They let me (actually, it may have been their suggestion, I don't remember). I had 2 really helpful CMs helping me by reading the words off of the ones that were up too high for me to see. The fridge had "Marcia's Popping' Fridge Swap" written on it at that time. They might not let anyone go back again, but it's worth asking!

I was very insistent that I knew it was there, so they probably just let me go back to get rid of me!

Luggage services still cannot locate the fridge... I asked if I could go look for it and was told that we were not allowed to do that... I have 3 different people say there are no fridge's in there at all right now...

Not really sure what else I could try other then keep asking...

UGH! What a pain! When I was there in February, there were probably 10 fridges, back there, if not more. I have a hard time believing there are none now! You might want to try going back at a different time of day to see if you get someone more helpful. I'm sorry it's not working out!

ugh, i am so sorry guys! i wonder if any other fridge swaps have gone missing...maybe they're trying to stop them for real this time? i don't know. like you said, other than continuing to ask, i don't know what else to do.

I am back and too was told they had no fridges ! On the 12th I got another fridge frm another swap and asd right away,but if pooh's hubby didn't get it then obviously my name would not be on it!! I have a feeling they may be getting sick of swaps and losinf them !! I sure hope we can locate this !!

Just wondering if there are any updates on the fridge. Did the person who had it last ever respond with any information. We are going from Nov 30 to Dec 8 and have the fridge for that week. Would like to know what to do as all the other fridge swaps are booked for our week.

Does anyone know how much POP charges for a fridge?

i'm so sorry guys, i don't know what to tell you. i did get in touch with anbouk, and she left it with luggage services on the morning of 9/2 with the next swapper, poohshubby's, info on it. unless it miraculously appears (again...), we may be out of luck.

I really think they are givingany fridge to anyone !! They asked me if the name I beleieve it was Tresa someone sounded familiar the second day I asked, but later that day said they NO fridges !!!

If the fridge does turn up, is it available for 11/8-13? We had it in May, and it was great! It did still have Marcia's name and the name of the swap written on the top of the fridge.

I noticed from looking at some other swap threads that some fridges have gotten mixed up over the last few weeks, and they are just continuing the swaps with the wrong fridges... I wonder if this one is one of those???

Oregonmommyof2: They fibbed to you when telling you that they weren't allowed to let you back there as I was in the back of Pop Luggage services a couple of times from 9/15-24 picking up strollers. As for no fridges being back there...OMG there was MANY back there...one with a pick up date of DEC!! I kid you not!

Marsh0013: There are fridges back there and part of the problem may be that some of them are back out in view with the fronts(door side) up against the wall, some fridges are stacked on top of each other, in front of each other, etc. I also seen-over the course of 10days) a couple of them sitting behind the airline check-in area. Honestly, I have a feeling it is there but they aren't looking. I ran into that a lot...and I do mean A LOT...while I was there picking up fridges (we had two) and 6 strollers. I was constantly beng told no it isn't there and when becoming more firm...the fourth or fifth time of sending the CM back...they would find the item. Have you tried calling POP luggage service and asking to speak to the luggage services manager? That seems to work quite well for the stroller swap when the strollers go missing. Plus I had more luck with the late at night (after 10pm) CMs finding things than I did the day shift...they aren't in such a hurry-less to do than the earlier shift. Just a couple of suggestions.

Hello swappers!

I coordinate a Pop Fridge Swap (#2) on the TourGuideMike forums. It seems that our fridge (and enclosed coffeepot, etc.) went missing in September and I'm trying to track it down. Meanwhile, Pop gave one of our swappers a fridge that doesn't belong to us. I have a feeling that they gave our fridge to another fridge swap group.

I have asked our swapper who is currently at Pop to take a picture of the fridge and box that she has in the hopes that we can find it's true owner. A picture of our fridge box is my avatar over there to the left. If anyone has seen the fridge, could you please, please contact me so that we can get our swap going again?
