Please check my math--ticket question.

OK-I've read through several informative threads on how one can combine both the DVC AP discount and the discount from a place like Undercover Tourist.

So I think I have this straight but would just like confirmation before I actually order my tickets from UT.

We need 2 adult APs and 3 children's APs. For adults DVC AP is $392.99 for kids $347.19 including tax. Total including tax with DVC discount from WDW is $1827.55.

The discounted ticket price from UT that comes closest without going over the price of DVC APs is the 6 day PH with N/E. For adults $348.00 for kids $310.00

So, if I order these tickets (which have a $30 discount each off gate price) I should expect to pay $1827.55 (DVC rate)-$1626.00 (UT ticket prices).-$150.00 (UT discount) =$51.55 at guest relations after I have used my ticket at least once.

Do I have this right?

The simple answer is, Yes.

The long answer is,
I get 48.99 at guest relation.
Cost of AP 369 - value of 6 day P/H, N/E ticket from disney 355= 14 dollars X tax of 6.5%=14.91 per adult AP
Cost of AP 326- value of 6 day P?H, N/E ticket from disney 320= 6 dollars X tax of 6.5%=6.39 per child AP
14.91+14.91+6.39+6.39+3.39=48.99

The error is the discount from UT. When the say 30 dollar saving it is really more like 30.08 for an adult and 30.80 for the children. Not a big difference from your total.

You must use a ticket first that has been brought at a discount to get the current gate value of the ticket from Disney.
