I just was wondering if there is some extra time involved in getting my tickets at work disneyland tickets that I printed out turned into the passes that they give you to get in, do I need to schedule some extra time to take care of that, or take care of it the day before our first day, or is it quick at the gate? just not sure how that works, any help is appreciated! Thanks!:goodvibes

Hi dayzemair! Re: your ticketsatwork question, you will have to turn your passes (presumably printed off at home) into hard tickets to be admitted into the park. You can do this at the ticketing kiosk located in the esplanade outside the main gate.

We purchased our tix from ticketsatwork for our visit last Oct. In order to save time, I'd recommend getting your hard tix the day before. That way you already have them in hand and can proceed straight to the turnstiles. We should have done that. We opted to get our tickets the first morning we went to the park. We were the FIRST car in line at the parking structure but got held up at security, then I waited in line with the kiddies while DH ran to get the tix before they opened the gates. Took too long for DH to return. The gates o. pened and I wound up having to get OUT of line. Lost our place. He arrived with the tickets, got back in line, and so much for being among the first guests inside the park...

If it isn't feasible for you to grab your tickets the day before, get to the park early!! :goodvibes

We did the night before option during this past year's Christmas week. It's not hard but does take away a bit of time getting in during stampede time.

Depends on when you go. We started our parkhoppers on a Monday during October, and it was easy with no wait. This would be completely different for a busier time of year. We bought again through Ticketsatwork, works well!

So has everyones experience with TicketsAtWork been trouble free? Does anyone call TicketsAtWork for a confirmation that your tickets WILL be at the gate or do you just trust that they will be there? I am slightly nervous about something I spent close to $900 on being at the gates when stated. :)

We went in May and used tickets at work for 3 day park hoppers. It took less than 5 minutes to get our tickets to bring to the gate but we were not there right at park opening. We showed up right after lunch because we spent the morning at the beach, so i have no idea how crazy it would be at park opening? Overall it was an easy experience and we will do it again in October!

It's not exactly likes concert will-call window where you've ordered tix vis phone/Internet and trust they'll be there waiting for you in an envelope with your name on it. You'll have no trouble if you remember to bring the confirmation ticketsatwork asks you to print up and bring with you. VERY IMPORTANT!! YOU MUST HAVE THE PRINTED CONFIRMATION!! The CM at the ticketing kiosk then issues you the official Disneyland tix you need for entry. We encountered zero probs with this last yr. If we hadn't rolled our tix into AP's, we'd absolutely be purchasing our tix this way again. :goodvibes

Alright. This is reassuring. I guess I got the impression that they had something to do with the ticket arival since they asked for our arival date. I will make sure to have the printed confirmation. Thanks for the info. :thumbsup2

Hey Magic Momma1. I see you guys are in the Prescott Valley area. Were in Gilbert. I hope you guys are having a little bit better weather than us right now! ;)

This all sounds pretty smooth, I purchased my tickets from them as well.:)

Hi DisneytheKid! How IS it down there right now? Hot enough for you??? LOL. :)
Have to admit the kids & I have been up in Flag for 2 wks now and although it's been a little too warm for me--even up here!--I know it's cooler than PV. Oh well, this is my last AZ summer. I just cling to that happy thought!!! No more easy DLR accessibility but the trade off is next year this time I'll be swimming in good ol' Lake Michigan .... :woohoo:

Agreed, you MUST bring your printed confirmation sheet, and make sure that the person whose name is on there is the one picking up the tickets. Just so you know, they are like a hard cardstock ticket, they are not plastic. They are about the size of a credit card. When we picked ours up, they had us sign them. Mine did get really wet one time on Splash Mountain (my purse got soaked), so make sure you keep them in a safe place: )
