Well I need a little help calculating a final grade if another home work assignment was added, If someone is willing to help me out, i would be glad to send you a pm with all the info. needed.

Also, just wondering your opinions on another graded situation in the same class that i need help configuring the grade in. Well I have 1 zero in this class for home work, and I NEVER have missing assignment, i ALWAYS do my home work. So, I sit at the front of the class and i pass in all the home work from my row, well for one home work assignment it said I had a zero. So I go back through my folder that contains papers ect. and there is the home work assignment that i was missing, it was done and all ready to go, so the only thing i could think of was that i must have thought it was in the stack when i passed it in, so she told me to bring it to her and she would see what she would do. So ( this was on a friday) So on Monday i come in and give her the assignment saying it was my missing assignment, she says " Ok." and takes it. Yet my grade for that assignment is still a zero, i wasn't expecting full credit but i was certainly expecting ' some ' credit for the assignment as she did say she would see what she could do. Should i go in and talk to the teacher about this assignment, explaining that i had thought it was in the stack, and that as she can see, have ALWAYS done my home work in the past, and have never not turned in my homework, because it is always completed.

Thanks for reading this,

Shannie

I would talk to the teacher. I know that I tell my students when they hand something in late that I may not get around to grading it right away so it may still show up as missing for a while. I have to go back and figure out how many points I gave for that assigment and exactly how I graded it. All late work goes into a folder that I grade when I'm caught up on current assignments. So, it may be that your teacher just didn't grade it yet. If it's near the end of the quarter like it is for us, it's likely that your homework is at the bottom of a pile of work that needs to be graded in order to figure grades for report cards.
