Do I remember reading this? Is the 5th person on a roll away? If so is there an added cost? We are traveling with a family of 5 and I am trying to figure out all our options!

TIA!

I believe it is only at the dolpin for 5 people. Yes, and it will be a rollaway and 2 dbl beds.

Thanks neighbor,:p ! Is it an addition 25.00 if its a child. They have 3 kids.

They told me it had to be dolphin to get a rollaway and that it would cost $25. Doesn't matter if it is a child -- I also was told I would be charged $25 for my 19-year-old. With that $50, plus the resort fee, the $139 rate suddenly didn't look so good!

That is exactly my problem with the whole deal.
139+10+25= 179 plus tax. Almost the same as PO-R without a discount.

Why is there always a hair in every soup! LOL!

We are a family of five staying at the Swan next month. Three adults and two children. We will pay an additional $25. for a roll away.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong....I think you can only get the rollaway at the Dolphin because they have two double beds as opposed to two queens - not enough room.

I have a written confirmation from the Swan stating that we have three adults and two children and are in one room at the Swan with a roll away. There are also two queen beds. I know it will be crowded but the only thing we do in the room is sleep so it works out ok for us.

mommyof2girls -- are you also being hit with the $25 extra adult fee? They told me I would have to pay $25 extra twice, once for rollaway and once for my 19-year-old.

No - The confirmation just lists the $25 fee one time for use of the roll away. Now I just hope I won't be informed of an extra $25 fee once I get down there...

I've stayed twice at the Dolphin with 2 adults and 3 kids, and both times I was told when we made our reservations that because of the size that we couldn't stay at the Swan. They said only the Dolphin could have 5 in the room due to the fact that the Swan has queen beds (Dolphin has doubles) and that the room is also smaller at the Swan (340 vs. 360 at the Dolphin). Of course, the last time we stayed there was in June 2001 and they could have changed their rules since then. Also the charge for the rollaway was $25/night at that time, but they waived it both times because the fifth person was a child. I've heard they now charge you the $25 fee whether it is a child or an adult.

I just made ressies & told them I needed a room to accomodate 5 people. The CM told me it would have to be the Dolphin & then explained the accomodations. Having never looked into the Dolphin before, I was puzzled about the 2 double/double beds. Where does the fifth person go--He told me that b/c they were 3 children, unless they were large, we could just use the 2nd oversized double bed or, of course, get the roll-away for $25/nt. Just what I was told.

So if your willing to have 3 kids sleep in one bed or one on the floor could you book at the swan?? For 25/night I am willing to bring an air matress.
