Does anyone have recent experience of the buffet menu. Looking for advice before booking as taking 2 people out for dinner with very limited tastes and obviously we want to get value for money.

We ate there for lunch on our last day last week.

I can't remember everything I saw, but it was a fairly wide variety. We were there in a group of 8, including 4 children between 3 and 8, and everyone found plenty they liked.

What specifically are you looking for?

We always eat there at least once every trip and the menu dosent tend to change much from year to year.
There is always a good selection of fish,lamb chops,sausages,burgers and chicken for meats then there is usually a mixed vegetable dish,pizza,chips,potato dauphinoise and a tomato based dish that I can't for the life of me remember the name of.
Also there are cheeses and fruit to choose from,as well as a very large dish of snails.
Then there is the best bit,the dessert section!!
Chocolate torte,apple pie,cheesecake and lots of others!!
It's safe to say we have never been disappointed but it is worth noting that the later you arrive for a service the less food there will be to choose from.We arrived for a late dinner on our last visit and the selection was cut by roughly half as they were winding down for closing.

Thanks for all the replies. We've decided to go for it and have booked an 8.30 dinner which hopefully isn't too late and the service/ selection will still be good.

That time will be fine - everyone eats later in Europe than here.

Haven't eaten at Plaza Gardens for quite a few years but it's always been considered one of the best value restaurants with plenty of choice for all tastes.

Definitely brilliant value for a buffet as drinks are unlimited. Even the children's apple/orange juice. Makes a massive change from their 20cl Hobbit sized can they usually give the kids, or the €5 can of coke!!
