any information regarding this restaurant will be helpful -

is this counter service or table service

i read on another board that at this restaurant there are free refills on drinks -
can that be true:confused3

did you enjoy the food here - sometimes it nice to get away from the beef and chicken and enjoy a sandwich

where is it located

thanks so much

Only thing I can answer for you is it is a TS pplace, we have ADR there for first part of August. I'm hoping the food is good, haven't been there in over 30 years.

Yep, it's TS but one of the least expensive ones. The allearsnnet website has a menu with prices, which are high compared to the outside world, but pretty reasonable for WDW.

I THINK the Plaza is located on Main St or nearby, but I'm not 100% sure about that. Hopefully a more experiences DISer can confirm!!

You know the little cut through right off Main Street that goes to Tomorrowland (and you pass the noodle station)...it's on that. Sort of hidden a little. I've never eaten here (we do have a lunch planned for our next trip) but the pics I saw on the food pic thread look delicious! If I remember correctly they even had sweet potato fries! Yummy! Every TS I've eaten at had free refills on drinks! :thumbsup2

It's a TS hidden gem. Good food, reasonable prices and great milkshakes. But don't tell too many people about it okay? ;)

The Plaza is a good place to eat if you don't want to use a TS pay for it. But I like it especially the sundaes!:lmao:

Agreed that on the DDP, you get more bang for the buck elsewhere. If you're paying oop like we always do, it's a great option for a TS meal.

We ate at The Plaza in February and loved it! Huge delicious sandwiches and fabulous ice cream desserts! I recommend the Plaza Club!

I love the Plaza Restaurant. As previous posters have said, it's a bit cheaper than the other sit down restaurants. The menu consists mostly of sandwiches and salads. I really love their steak and cheese sandwich. I've never had a bad meal here.

It's really small, so you may want to make an ADR in advance.

The Plaza is our number one pick when we aren't on the dining plan. When we are on the dining plan, we go for a more expensive meal. When I'm paying oop, it is a perfect place to get a reasonably priced meal. The food is always good and it is usually a nice place to relax during the day.

As one of the previous posters mentiod, you don't get a lot of bang for your buck on the dining plan. Despite that, we go every year because we find it a refreshing change of pace from all the "heavy" meals we eat at all of the other restaurants for table service meals. I have had the club sandwich and the burger and both are very good. My DH has had the grilled chicken and the reuben and loved both. You can get fries or german potato salad. The shakes are delicious and the sundaes to die for! :worship:

We ate at Plaza for the first time last month and loved it!!! The food was great and our waitress was also great! The only drawback to this place is that it is small. We had a party of 9 and had to be split up. No big deal as we were near each other. (They do have tables that accommodate larger parties, but I had called too late to get those.) My only suggestion is to get the earlier reservations as they do get backed up. We had 12:05 reservations and didn't get seated until 12:35. (Unfortunately, we had arrived early for our reservations and had to wait a long time with hot and tired children.) Anyway, we would absolutely eat at Plaza again! :goodvibes
Make sure you order a milkshake; they are incredible!
