What are your thoughts for a good lunch location at MK in June? My husband and I will be with our DDs, 8 yrs and 3 yrs. princess: princess: We need tasty food and a comfortable setting. We are also concerned about the summertime crowds June 11-18th.

Thank you!

My family prefers the Plaza Restaurant. Great salads, sandwiches and ice cream!

Crystal Palace has Pooh and friends so if you want to see them and not stand in line then Crystal Palace is a good bet. However just last month we had two of the characters Tigger and Eeyore both throw pens down on the table and neither seemed like they wanted to be bothered for autographs or pictures in fact Tigger had to be brought back to our table because he missed it. They also completely ignored a disable young man and his mother who were seated at the table next to us. It is also a buffet. That being said I prefer the Plaza as it is a nice cool quiet place for lunch that has excellent sandwiches and ice cream.

They're both good choices, but it depends on what you're looking for. Crystal Palace has a good buffet and characters, but it can be noisy and hectic. Plaza Restaurant has terrific sandwiches and desserts, and is much more peaceful. I plan on visiting both during my December trip!

If it's crowds you want to avoid, I'd be inclined towards the Plaza. We had a PS for CP and still had to wait over an hour to be seated... not fun with hungry cranky kids! This was off-season, too.

I went to the Plaza this April. Me, DD5, Mother, aunt and cousin all adults. It was great. We all ate well. The starwberry/chicken salad was great. It was cool and very relaxing in the middle of a long hot day.

I would select the Plaza for lunch, but then I like to eat light for lunch and would not go for a buffet.
The burgers at the Plaza are delicious and our last visit I had the strawberry/chicken salad which was fantastic.

I haven't tried the Plaza yet, but you guys have me craving the strawberry/chicken salad!!

However, we LOOOVE the CP and have to eat there every time we visit the MK, even if it's more than once a trip! Great food, beautiful restaurant, and terrific characters. Can't beat it.
