I asked this in the dining plan section but no one responded.

I am thinking of giving the Plaza a try this time around. The menu looks pretty good and the picture of the banana split I saw on the food pic's thread, let's just say DELICOUS!!! Wish they had a "drool" smiley : )
Anyway, we will be on the dining plan and was wondering if as an appetizer we could get a salad or soup, I saw them on the menu listed as an extra charge. Has anyone been there and used the dining plan. . .your thoughts? Any limitations. How is the food/service?
Thanks!

Haven't been there while on the dining plan, but the restaurant is good, It's nice to be able to sit down and relax a little. The menu is not very large but is good, especially by MK standards.

I've never used the dining plan but the Plaza is a must do for us, in fact we usually eat there twice. The food is fabulous!

Thanks for the responses, I just made ADR's after these reviews, the reviews on ALLEARS.net and the menu as well. I just hope someone posts who has been there on the dining plan. Thanks! Looking forward to eating there for the first time, I love trying new things.

Also not on the dining plan, but just visited there this past Nov. DH & I loved it and have it on our list for later this year. It was nice to have something different than just the same burgers and fries.

I'd love to know this answer, too!! The Plaza seems like a good choice for us, but I don't want to go if it's not on the dining plan! I hope someone replies soon!

I "think" it is on the dining plan, or was at least.

I think the place is a good, cheap alternative to the more expensive places.

It has a very small menu but it is very good and reasonably priced.

It is a place where you can go in and get out somewhat quickly if you like, or you can take your time.

Because it's more quiet than most other places, you can "decompress" a little from the park.

Thanks. It IS on the dining plan. I guess my question is, since I am using my credits at a less expensive place I wanted to see if I could use the salad or soup on the menu as an appetizer with our sandwich and desert.
