Plaza Rest.? Never see too much on this

I love the Plaza! I agree about not spending a TS credit there though. mmmm 4 1/2 months to go!

We love the Plaza. Sandwiches and soups were great, and if you share you have more room for the yummy ice cream treats!! It's probably one I'd pay OOP for.

I actually clicked onto the Restuaruant board to find out if it was worth keeping the ADR for the Plaza, since you never see anything on it. I guess I have my answer.

Glad to hear the Rueben gets rave reviews . . . I already made up my mind that's that what I'm eating in 5 weeks. It is an OOP meal, DDP just isn't cost effective when you're not a big eater.

We really enjoyed the Plaza as a cool and peaceful place to eat after the combination of heat and and compulsion to do rides. Early dinner there gave us the energy to carry on to the fireworks at night. Food was very pleasant and mercifully light in the trip where we had too many ADRs! We're going back this year.

I like the location. Easy to scoot to TL.

Its the best kept secret at WDW!

Limited menu, but I love the tomato soup and club sandwich, DH loves the Reuben.

My kids like the chicken sticks.

We ALL love the desserts! HUGE sundaes, like an old time ice cream parlor.

Oh, and definitely DDE friendly!

I definitely would not use the DDP, but I have to agree that the food is good. It is not fancy, sandwiches and salads. But the food is good and
consistant. I would recommend it.

We were never on DDP - and the Plaza Rest. fits our budget well
Good burgers, sandwhiches and kids menu. Great ice cream if you are not full from the meal (we are always full).

We are trying the Plaza for the first time during our trip in Oct. It sounds like we made a great choice!

I have walked by this place tons of times, and are finally trying it in Septemeber. I prefer sandwiches with service. Sometimes i just want a sandwich, and just don't want to deal with finding a seat, trays & craziness. We do plan to pay OOP for it though, doesn't make sense to use a TS credit for it.

We just went to the Plaza last December for the first time on the night of our MVMCP...

it perfectly fit the bill for what we wanted that night...sandwiches, salads and ice cream... Everything was fresh and tasty and it has a charming location tucked in at the end of Main Street and you can see the Castle..

We liked it so much that we are going back for lunch at the end of our trip next week....

We have eaten here 3 of our last 4 trips to Disney, including when we took our oldest son and his girlfriend for his high school graduation trip. It is a limited menu, but the food has always been very good, the service excellent. The kids shared a shake with one straw (oh to be young again!) and said it was the best shake they ever had.
